Year 9 PDHPE – Challenging Gender Stereotypes
Our Year 9 PDHPE students have been outstanding in tackling the issue of gender stereotypes. In an engaging session led by Mr Price, they explored common stereotypical phrases and reflected on how these ideas can shape identity from a young age.
Students showed maturity and insight, recognising the negative impact stereotypes can have on confidence and self-belief. They also impressed with their practical ideas on how tocall out and challenge these behavioursin positive ways.
It was fantastic to see Year 9 working together with such energy and respect, showing their commitment to building a more inclusive culture.
