Year 11 Legal Studies - Court House Visit

On Wednesday, 13 August, the Year 11 Legal Studies class went to Mudgee’s list day to view the law in action. Students enjoyed watching all members of the legal system at work, including the magistrate, police prosecutor, Legal Aid solicitors and private practitioners. Students were fortunate enough to meet afterwards with a prosecutor from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, who generously answered questions and explained their role in the criminal justice system.
