On Monday 29 July, Year 11 students travelled to Dubbo to participate in the Dare to Be Aware Road Safety Education Program. This valuable day provided students with a deeper understanding of the importance of making safe choices on the road.

Throughout the program, students experienced a variety of activities including:

• Live road crash scenarios with emergency services response demonstrations
  
  
• Ambulance and safety displays showcasing lifesaving equipment and procedures
  
  
• Presentations from road crash survivors sharing their personal stories and insights
  
  
• Interactive stalls offering information from road safety organisations
  
  
• Workshops led by local services dedicated to keeping all road users safe
  
  

The day encouraged our students to reflect on the real-life consequences of risky driving behaviours and reinforced the importance of responsible decision-making as both drivers and passengers.
