RE Happenings
As winter sets in and the temperatures drop, it's the perfect time for our school community to turn compassion into action. We're proud to once again support the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal, helping to bring warmth and dignity to those in need.
This year, we're inviting all students to take part by donating canned goods.
Year 7 & 8: Tinned soup
Year 10: Baked Beans
Year 9, 11: Tinned vegetables
Year 12: Items for personal packs
Your contribution helps Vinnies provide food hampers and meals to those experiencing hardship in our local community.
We are reminded of the words of Catherine McAuley, who said:
“The poor need help today, not next week.”
Let us respond with the same sense of urgency and compassion.
Thank you for your generosity and for living out our school’s core value of service in such a practical and powerful way.
Pope’s Prayer Intention: June
That the world might grow in compassion
Let us pray that each one of us might find consolation in a personal relationship with Jesus, and from his Heart, learn to have compassion on the world.
