Year 11 Economics
Year 11 Economics students have studied the concept of economies of scale, focusing on how businesses can reduce unit costs through increased production and the specialisation of land, labour, or capital. To test their theoretical understanding, students applied the principles of economies of scale in a real-world context by producing milkshakes.
Their goal was to reach the technical optimum thereby achieving the lowest possible average cost per unit for milkshakes.
