From the Head of Campus
Welcome back to all families. I begin with a thank you for the large number of students who were able to join the school community for our ANZAC Day march through the streets of Mudgee. As a town, we are encouraged by the respect shown from all members of our Mudgee community and it was a proud moment to see our students from Kindergarten to Year 12 march so proudly and respectfully through our main streets.

We have a number of special events during the first half of this term, beginning with our Mother’s Day breakfast and celebration on Friday May 9. After breakfast in the morning all guests are welcomed into our school Gym for a Liturgy and Students of the Week Awards.
The following week we celebrate Catholic Schools Week, starting on Monday May 12. We begin with a Liturgy in the morning followed by ‘Open Classrooms’ where parents and families are invited into classrooms to watch a lesson taught by our teachers. Lunch in the playground straight after and then a farewell to all families present. Other events take place throughout the week as we celebrate being one of 1759 Catholic schools in Australia.
Change to Winter Uniform in Term 2
As we move towards the colder months, we inform families that the change to our full school winter uniform will begin on the first day of Week 3 next term, Monday 12th May. During Weeks 1 and 2 students may wear their full summer uniform or full winter uniform. Please also remember to clearly label all jumpers and jackets to assist us in returning items that are misplaced.
