St Matthews had 27 swimmers attend the diocesan swimming carnival in Dubbo. The level of support for each of the Mudgee swimmers from members of the team was wonderful to see. Each swimmer from St Matthews gave their best effort in their races and were a credit to our school.

Special congratulations to all the members of the swim team who progressed to the Polding Swimming Carnival at Sydney Aquatic Centre in 2 weeks time.

A very big congratulations to Ruben who was named Junior Boys Champion for the entire diocese. A special mention needs to go to the junior boys relay team who broke the diocesan record for the 4x50m relay and to Ruben who broke the diocesan record for the 50m backstroke.
