From the Stage 6 Wellbeing Coordinator

Dear Families, I am delighted to introduce myself as the new Stage 6 Coordinator. My name is Emma Kurtz, and I have previously worked with Stage 5 students (Years 9 and 10) at St Matthews. I am excited to embark on this journey with our Year 11 and 12 students, supporting their academic growth, wellbeing, and success in their final years of schooling. Recently, our Year 11 students participated in the Year 11 Mass and Senior Badge Ceremony, demonstrating great reverence and engagement. It was a meaningful occasion, and I commend them for their respectful presence and participation. This year, I will also be working closely with the school’s SRC committee. While we are still finalising the voting process for some year levels, we look forward to announcing the full team soon and celebrating their leadership within our school community.
